What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? Why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It is a marketing strategy that is used to convince potential customers to buy items from your site. It's a sales process by which a person comes to your blog seeking information that could help to solve a particular issue. Through certain tools, however you will be able to learn to build a relationship and build trust with each user.

This will help you better understand each visitor's needs. This will enable you to provide the most accurate information possible to every visitor. If you gain the trust of your visitors they are more likely to purchase your products. The customer becomes the visitor.

Some customers end up becoming very loyal customers, willing to purchase every product you advertise. A marketing funnel includes all of the steps required to convert a regular visitor to your website to become a loyal client and purchase every item that you sell.

This is the ultimate objective for any online marketer. A properly created funnel can achieve this very quickly.

You've got your marketing resources to entice people's attention and draw them into the funnel. When they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page, they enter the funnel. Since no one will sign up on your company's lead capture page. I have said "personal". They are looking to become a leader, not a business.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. When they click the "Sign up now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole different universe of marketing through networks.

The best aspect is that they have qualified themselves to be able to do it. It's up to them. You haven't offered anything other than that you are an instructor, leader, and someone who can help them get more leads, and also more cash into their business.

This is the way a standard funnel works.

The "front-end", you can create a free offer that can attract and qualify prospective customers who may be interested in buying your product later in the sales funnel. In order to get the product for free, users must sign up (also known as opt-in) and give their email address and name, and in turn they will be added to your email list.

Once you have your contacts in your account, you can make them aware of offers that are similar to theirs.

They'll be directed to a page that offers a low-price offer or what is called a trip wire deal right after they sign up for the free offer. This is the point where they go to the "back-end of the funnel."

If the person purchases the lowest priced deal, they will be directed to a comparable offer at a more expensive cost (commonly called an upsell). If the person buys the more expensive offer, they will be transferred to a different product that is priced higher. This can continue for a long time...
